PRIVACY
Privacy by design.
Effective 23 August 2026
We protect identity by collecting almost nothing. Below is current practice — what we ask for, what we never ask for, what we never share.
Current practice
What we collect, what we don't.
What we ask for
A phone number — to send the gift card by text. A ZIP code — to connect requests to a School Fund.
About text messages
Your phone number is never shared or sold. We use it only to verify your request and send your claim link. You will receive two messages per request: a verification code, then your claim link. If you ask us to send a new code, that is one more. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time.
What's optional
An email — only if you want a backup in case we can't reach you by text. Never shared, never sold. That's the only optional field.
What we never ask for
No name. No address. No story. No proof of need. No documentation. No income verification. No photo. No demographic information.
What we never share
Recipients are never visible to donors. Donors are never visible to recipients. Your phone number is visible only to us and to Twilio, which sends your text — never to another person using ENTREVERSO, and never to the company that issues the card.
Quick Exit
Every recipient-facing page has a Quick Exit button — a one-click way to leave for safety reasons. Built for survivors of domestic violence and anyone whose situation requires it.
How long we keep your number
Your phone number is deleted about 30 days after your gift card is delivered. You can choose to have it held for 12 months so you do not have to enter your details again — that is your choice, not the default. Either way it is encrypted while we hold it.
Who can receive support
Direct support is for people 18 and over. Younger people are served through our school and institutional partners rather than directly, so that we are not holding a minor's phone number.
How data flows
Where information goes, and where it doesn't.
Recipient phone numbers are used by Twilio to send the gift card text, and by nobody else. The company that issues the gift card never receives your number — we send you the link ourselves. ZIP codes route requests to School Funds. Donor information is processed by Stripe for payment. Mobile phone numbers are never sold, and never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. None of these vendors share data with each other beyond what's necessary to deliver one gift card to one phone.
